I make the series of works under the umbrella title ‘tracts’ by pouring granular material inside twinwall polycarbonate panels-- a building material commonly used for semi-transparent windows and walls. To make each ‘tract,’ I gather, sort, and pour granular materials inside the polycarbonate panels, which accumulates at the bottom of the channels, building up an image that evokes natural rhythms and phenomena.
